Type of Work/Products/Services: The CIO-CS GWAC is designed to provide a mechanism for Federal customers to procure IT commodities and solutions related to general IT initiatives along with health and life science IT capabilities. These IT commodities and associated commodity enabling services may include IT procurements aligned to information management, operational, administrative, and health and biomedical research requirements. Federal agencies can use this GWAC for acquiring a wide range of IT commodities and associated commodity-enabling services. Agencies buying via CIO-CS have access to the e-GOS, where they can list requirements for a project and get timely feedback from industry on the best ways to achieve those goals. The e-GOS allows for purchasers to review acquisition data in real time, viewing their purchase history to inform improvements in their acquisition strategy. IMPRES was specifically chosen as a CIO-CS contract holder due to our ability to be flexible and adapt to new product and service demands as technologies evolve. Additionally, IMPRES is an approved Government-wide Strategic Solutions (GSS) vendor, offering standard configurations for desktops and laptop computers under this contract vehicle.
