Impres Technology Solutions. Inc., a leading provider of IT products and services to business and government, has been chosen to participate in the SBA’s 8 (a) Small Business Development Program.
“One of our strengths has always been in the government arena,” said Richard Fu, president of IMPRES. “This program gives us the opportunity to tap into a sixty plus billion dollar Federal Government market through the SBA and GSA. Twenty-three percent of the government’s budget is set aside for small businesses through the SDB Certification Program. We could not say no to the government. This is a great opportunity for us.”
In addition to standard contracts and bids, the program allows Impres the ability to accept credit card orders for goods and services from over 1000 Federal buying offices.
The program is administered out of the SBA’s Glendale, California office. The term of the program is nine years, which began September 18, 2007.
